Academic Supports

JHS provides multiple levels of academic support to help students address challenges, strengthen skills, recover credits, and remain on track for graduation. Students and families are encouraged to seek assistance early so that staff can identify concerns and develop an appropriate plan.

Available Supports

Specific subject support is available weekly after school.  Students should bring their assignments with them.  The schedule for 2026-2027 will be posted here when it is available.

Students have the opportunity to earn credits for previously failed classes as part of JHS’s after school credit recovery program.  Each subject meets once a week after school.  Eligible students will be contacted by their school counselors.

Students who do not gain credit during the school year may be eligible for Summer School.  To be eligible to take a course in summer school, the student must have taken the course and earned between a 50 and a 64.
