Visual & Digital Arts
The JHS Digital Arts Program prepares students to become creative designers, visual storytellers, and digital media professionals through hands-on, project-based learning. Students progress through Digital Arts I–IV/Capstone, developing skills in graphic design, digital illustration, photography, branding, layout, and multimedia production using Adobe industry-standard software. Students gain authentic experience through school and community design projects, collaboration with the JHS School Store, Panther Pen Prints, and Business & Finance Program, and opportunities to connect with local industry partners. A RIDE-approved industry credential is planned for the 2027–2028 school year, further preparing students for college, careers, and opportunities in the growing creative and digital media industries.
