Kevin Conway Bio

Kevin Conway serves as an Assistant Principal of Johnston High School. He brings more than 26 years of experience in public education, having served as a teacher, Dean of Students, Director of School Operations, and school administrator. Throughout his career, Mr. Conway has been committed to creating safe, supportive, and student-centered learning environments while building strong partnerships with students, families, staff, and the community.

Mr. Conway earned a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Providence College and a Bachelor Of Science in Physical Education from Rhode Island College. In addition to his work as an educator, he has an extensive background in athletics. He has served as both a high school baseball coach and a high school and collegiate hockey coach. He also brings more than 30 years of experience officiating high school football and lacrosse, reflecting his lifelong commitment to mentoring young people, promoting teamwork, and demonstrating integrity both on and off the field.

Mr. Conway’s leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration, high expectations, positive school culture, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. He is excited to join the Johnston High School community and looks forward to working alongside students, families, faculty, and staff to continue the school’s tradition of excellence.
