The JHS Nurse’s Office supports students’ health, safety, and ability to participate fully in school. The school nurse provides care for illness and injury, manages student health needs, and works with families and staff to promote a healthy learning environment.

The school nurse evaluates students who become ill or injured during the school day and determines the appropriate next steps.

The Nurse’s Office safely manages medications that students are authorized to receive during the school day.

The nurse works with families and staff to support students with allergies, chronic conditions, and other individual health needs.
Health Records
The Nurse’s Office maintains required health records and helps families meet school health, immunization, and physical examination requirements.
