- Points-Based Grading System: The World Languages Department uses a points-based system. Each assignment, quiz, etc., is given a point value. The final grade is determined by adding up all the points earned and comparing it to a grading standard.
- Re-Taking Quizzes/ Tests: Students who miss school work because of unexcused absences are given the opportunity to make up missed work. The time period is about one week from the date it was assigned. Students are not allowed to retake tests or quizzes. Tests and quizzes are modified for students and scaffolding is provided.
- Dropping Low Assessment Grade: No grades are dropped and students are held accountable for all assessments given.
- Participation: A participation grade is/ will be given 1 time per quarter
